Milan Games Week 2017: A Success!
Nearly 148,000 visitors: this is what confirms the success of Milan Games Week 2017! And we were there in the Family Area, the one dedicated to the little ones with moms and dads.
We know, the weekend means taking some spare time for us and to stay with our families. In events such as the Milan Games Week, many kids came to the fair together with their parents and siblings.
While teenage children were in the queue to try their favorite games or the upcoming ones, the Family Area intervenes to welcome their smaller siblings along with their parents, with great relief from the latter.
The Family Area of the Milan Games Week
Five games created by independent Italian developers have entertained kids through fun educational apps and coloring activities by Art Stories, Lola Slug, Lilotito, GrugnoStudios and us Mash&Co. Besides letting play Mash&Co to kids, we made a small contest involving parents giving the chance to win three Mash&Co bags. We will shortly communicate the winners through our newsletter.

What have we learned at the Milan Games Week?
Despite the fatigue that such fair can bring, we were all happy to see once again that the adventures of Mash and Periwinkle have been appreciated by our little friends, helping us to improve and understand what today’s children want, more and more attracted by technology and quality digital products.
On the other hand, many parents are more aware of the types of apps that are created by independent developers, expressing their appreciation and even criticism of what they see and download for their children.
This makes us hope that the barrier has brought adults a sense of distrust towards the digital apps and video games can become thinner, thus renewing confidence in new media and technology.
