SUPER SOFIA
What happens if a granny begins to tell a story and then falls asleep in the middle of the story, without unveiling the end to her listeners? Here is her granddaughter Sofia, a little girl in a wheelchair and her friends McG, Pepo, and Pulce enter the grandmother’s story trying to uncover the end through their imagination and logic games. It will be a journey to rediscover ancient stories and folk traditions. The island of Sicily with its sea and its heart, the Etna Vulcano is going to be the theatre of Grandmother’s stories. The ancient tradition of the old storytellers performed for hundreds of years meets the modernity of trans-media storytelling, to involve the new generations and transport them on journey old as Sicily itself.
