Interaction

The concept of interaction is meant as the ability to acquire the first forms of social orientation, to be able to relate to people and objects available in the surrounding space. From the second until nearly the fourth year of life, we experience an increase in interaction and control of the external world: children learn to associate certain words to objects or actions. Most of the actions at this stage of development manifest through playing and imitation, which are the main tools to discover the world and its rules.

Coordination

Coordination allows children to establish spatial relationships relative to the orientation of their body, to capture the movement and dynamism in the perceived objects and transform them into others.
With the onset of this ability, children are able to imagine the rotation of two and three dimensional objects, and begin associating two actions in sequence to an end.

Recognition

The function of recognition is inborn in children, but reaches its maximum progression after the first year of life, thanks to the development of language.Through recognition children learn to distinguish the mother’s face from that of the other people around, proceeding gradually to identify objects that are part of the game of his life.
Recognition allows childern to get in touch with the world and act on it, through objects and their shapes, to discover the use and functions proceeding by trial and error.
