Mash&Co a Tim#Wcap 2015 start-up
It was 2014 when we entered for the first time inside TIM#WCap in Catania, TIM corporate accelerator. Here, thanks to a local competition, we had the opportunity to have a desk at the co-working space where we started the development of Mash&Co, until its release on Windows Phone platforms.
In 2015, thanks to TIM#WCap Call for Ideas we became one of the 40 official start-ups, winning a grant and the acceleration program.
Our mission? To introduce kids to social values through the adventures of Mash and Periwinkle, with a trans-media animated exploratory game.
Pleased to be able to forward our mission to TIM#WCap team, we attended the four-months long acceleration program. We followed courses and workshops, while working on our project at the co-working space located at the foothills of mount Etna.
In addition to the nominated awards, we have also become part of TIM official suppliers in the domain in which we operate.
An adventure made especially of people. During and after the acceleration program, mentors support us in the fulfillment of the goals that our start-up has scheduled. We also met many professionals who shared their expertise and experiences in the areas in which they operate, during the workshops.Through dedicated events, we expanded our network and we have earned a solid credibility as a start-up, thanks to a strong partner such as TIM.
But above all, today a significant contribution to our personal and professional growth has been given by the figure of fellow start-uppers during this adventure. We have grown and helped each other in the run-up to a dream of making a contribution for a better world, accessible and connected through new technologies.
Thanks to these opportunities, Mash&Co will be released for iOS platforms very soon.
TIM#WCap Call for Startups 2016 is open. There are 32 grants each of €40,000 prize. If you want to apply with your start-up, do it until May 30th, 2016. Good luck!
